The problem.
Parents find sitters the old way: a friend's recommendation, a name passed along at pickup. The marketplaces offer badges and strangers. And sitters who do this for a living chase late payments, absorb last-minute cancellations, and work without a single thing in writing.
What I built.
A circle, not a marketplace.
Every family builds a small Circle: one main sitter and a few backups. Sitters join through people you already know, with vouches and invite links, so nobody on the list is a stranger.

Meet before anyone books.
Every new sitter starts with a Meet & Greet: a short intro call on the calendar before the first sit. Afterward, Hearth checks in so both sides can decide with confidence.

Ask for a sit. The terms come with it.
Pick a day and how long. Payment and the cancellation policy are part of every request, so there's nothing to negotiate at the door and nothing to chase afterward.

A real business, in the sitter's pocket.
Sitters get a Money hub built for people who do this seriously: earnings, payouts, monthly statements, a client list, and calendar sync. It's the back office a career nanny never had.

Teen sitters, with a guardian in the loop.
Teen sitters can only be booked by families inside their own network. A guardian co-signs every new family and holds the payout account.
Eli wants to sit for the Parks
The Parks are in Eli's network through the Chen family. Only families you approve can book Eli.
Guardian holds the payout accountBoth sides of every sit.
The family asks. The sitter confirms. Each side sees exactly what it needs, from the first request to the last payout.
